# Jane CATM

### **What is CATM?**

Cashless ATM (CATM) is an ATM transaction. The customer dips/swipes their debit card into the payment terminal and enters their pin number.  The customer will be withdrawing their funds from an online account and then using those funds for their purchase. CATM will automatically round the transaction to the nearest $5 and the budtender will dispense any change needed in cash.

### What are the major differences between CATM and Pin-Debit?

CATM is much more accepted and known in the cannabis space. While Pin-Debit functions exactly the same as all other traditional debit card transactions, CATM is an ATM transaction. The end customer will be “withdrawing” their funds from an online account, and then using those funds for their purchase. It's a slightly different process in the backend, but the customer will still see their approved amounts settle to their statements.  Rounding is the major difference between CATM and Pin Debit. CATM will automatically round the transaction to the nearest $5, and the budtender will dispense any change needed in cash.&#x20;

### Is there any charge to the customer?

Yes. The customer will see a $3 ATM withdrawal fee added to their final total.  The customer will see the following on the terminal at the time of transaction and will have to accept the total amount to complete the transaction.&#x20;

1. The merchandise total
2. Any round up to the nearest $5
3. $3 surcharge

### What is the cost for dispensaries to use CATM?

Outside of the terminal purchase, nothing! There are no fees associated.

### When does the dispensary see their funds?&#x20;

After a transaction has been completed and the day’s batch of transactions have been sent to the bank to process, it takes about 48 hours (M-F, holidays not included) for the funds to land in your account.&#x20;

### Where can you view transaction data?&#x20;

Dispensaries will have access to all reports and transaction data in Tableau. Access will be provided during the onboarding process.

### How quickly will transaction data post to Tableau?

Transaction data takes up to 24 hours to post. This is due to the batching of transactions.  If you need to see a transaction in real time you can check the physical terminals. A number of reports can be run directly from the terminals.&#x20;
