Customers are presented a mix of products based on their shopping behavior and past purchase history. Jane uses machine learning models to recommend products so customers see items that they're most likely to purchase. Think of this like having a virtual budtender recommending add-ons at the end of a customer's shopping journey to increase cart size and products per cart.
## **FAQs** ### Will I be able to customize which items display in the Cart Topper placement? Customization is NA with our Cart Toppers feature. Jane uses machine learning to display a mix of sponsored and personalized items to the shopper with a goal to show high-performing and most likely to purchase items to drive additional revenue and increase average cart size. ### What types of products will be displayed in this new placement? There is a $50 price ceiling for all cart topper products to increase the likelihood of shoppers adding the items to their order. Over time we may adjust or be more flexible on this price ceiling. ### How does Jane select which products are displayed? Jane's primary input is the relevance of the product to the shopper. We prioritize displaying products that are most likely to get clicked using our machine learning models as well as historical performance data. ### Will I see items from multiple brands or a single brand? A mix of items from multiple brands are displayed. If a shopper historically only shops a specific brand, we may show a higher number of items from that brand to the shopper. In general Cart Toppers can show multiple brands and product types at once. ### Can I opt-out of the Cart Toppers placement? Yes. Reach out directly to your Partner Success rep or to request that your menus be opted out of Cart Toppers.
