# Jane Premium Onboarding Guide Cloudflare
Welcome to your Premium onboarding checklist! This guide will walk you through each step you’ll take in order to seamlessly integrate Jane Premium on your existing e-commerce site.
Before beginning with Premium setup, please connect with your Partner Success Manager for a few initial steps.
## Connect to Cloudflare
Jane Premium uses Cloudflare as a reverse proxy to serve menu content from Jane's servers while keeping customers on your domain. A Cloudflare Worker — a small script that runs on Cloudflare's globally distributed network — intercepts requests to your menu page (like `yoursite.com/shop`), fetches the content from Jane behind the scenes, and returns it. This makes the menu appear as a native part of your website rather than a redirect to a third-party service, while benefiting from Cloudflare's speed and reliability.
In order for Jane Premium to integrate with your site, you’ll first need to onboard your domain to Cloudflare. Integrating your site with Cloudflare can be done in a few simple steps, (for more details on these instructions, follow Cloudflare’s guide).
1. [Sign up for Cloudflare](https://www.cloudflare.com/plans/developer-platform/). There's a free version available, however - if your website meets any of the following metrics (across all menus), we would recommend signing up for the standard plan which is $5 per month to avoid any downtime on your site:
* 175+ checkouts per day
* 1,000+ unique visitors per day
* 3,650+ menu loads per day

2. Enter your domain: After signing up, enter your existing domain URL in the provided box. (i.e. yoursite.com)
3. **Import your DNS records:** Before proceeding, you'll want to bring over a copy of your existing DNS records so nothing breaks during the switch to Cloudflare.
Most domain providers (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.) let you export your DNS records as a file — look for an "Export" or "Export Zone File" option in your DNS settings. Once you have it, upload it in your Cloudflare dashboard under **DNS > Records > Import DNS Records**. Cloudflare will also try to auto-detect your records, but **it doesn't always catch everything**.

 \*\*Before you change your nameservers (step 4), double-check that all of your subdomains are accounted for.\*\*
When Cloudflare takes over DNS for your domain, any subdomain that's missing a record in Cloudflare will stop working — the page will simply go down. This is a common cause of issues during onboarding for sites with subdomains so be sure to verify the records exist.
Think about every part of your site that uses a subdomain, for example: `blog.yoursite.com`, `shop.yoursite.com`, `mail.yoursite.com`. Also consider services you might not think of as "your website" — email, marketing tools, or third-party integrations that run on a subdomain.

**\*\*Please note:** if you are using WPEngine you need to make sure that the CNAME records are correctly configured otherwise web traffic won't pass through Cloudflare correctly. 4. **Update your Domain Nameservers:** Log in to your registrar / domain provider and update your nameservers to the values that Cloudflare provides you (do not use the ones below, Cloudflare will provide you the correct values for your domain).

It can take up to 24 hours for your domain to be added to Cloudflare though it’s often much quicker; you should receive an email from Cloudflare like the one below once it’s finished being added.
## **Finish the Setup in the Jane Business Dash**

## **Linking to your menu page**
Once you are finished setting up the worker, the menu will be live! Simply redirect all of the links, buttons, etc. that direct users to your menu on your site to your new premium menu link (i.e. [*yourdomain.com/menu*](http://yourdomain.com/menu)) or follow the guide below on how to link to specific stores!
### **Link to Specific Stores**
You can copy the link to a specific store in Jane’s Business Dashboard under **My stores**.
The default is that each store is linked by their store id, such as yourdomain.com/menu/storeid

#### **Adding Store URL Parameter**
Alternatively, you can append `?storeid=` to any category page (e.g. Deals, Flower, Shop all, etc.) or PDP and it will also link to a specific store
Example:
**Adding Fulfillment Specific Parameter**
You can append `?reservation-mode=delivery` to the link you want to open to delivery.
**Adding Location Selector Parameter**
You can append `?select-store=true` to the link if you would like the location selector to pop out right away
